THE BIOGRAPHY OF ARTIST – ANEU’RE

Contemporary mixed media artist since the age of 10, Aneu’re creates narrative work that features personal and new age tales.  She tells a story using eye-popping complementary colors that are both beautiful and give many layers of meaning. 

Aneu’re, a 1979 born resident of Richmond, CA was largely self-taught as an artist.  Aneu’re begun as a “hobby artist” depicting portraits from magazines.  In 1994, she took on the challenge of drawing an elderly woman (e.g. Ultima, pencil drawing) for an English assignment.  She received recognition for the piece from her math teacher who then enrolled her in Advanced Art.

At the age of 22, profound visions began to engage her thoughts.  Unaware of their origins, she took hold of her revelations and began to paint them on canvas.  Numerous painting ensued (e.g. “Shhh Listen”, oil on canvas; “Cognizance”: oil on canvas) and in 2003, Aneu’re gained acceptance to one of the most prestigious Art Schools in Seattle, WA – Cornish College of the Arts.  Due to unfortunate circumstances, she had to withdraw.  Undaunted, her success is still on the rise.  She believes that when you are passionate about what you do, success is sure to follow.
